Fluorite, Spessartine, Quartz ID154
China, Fujian, Zhangzhou, Tongbei, Wushan spessartine mine

Fluorite in not common in this mine and usually is colorless. My picks included some of the nicest fluorites in the mine. In this specimen, the fluorite has a "frosty" surface and a superb purple color which is very good for the mine standards. It measures 1.6cm across(also large for the locality!)and sits on a bed red juicy spessartines, associated with small smoky quartzes. A really nice example of fluorite from this locality which is known for spessartine and smoky!
