Smithsonite (blue) ID175

Lavrion is well-known for producing fine smithsonite specimens. The color in this specimen reminds the "Kelly mine blue". Now this is very rare for Greek smithsonite! Only few specimens like this one actually exist and the vast majority of them are really small slices(smaller than miniatures).
This is a very nice example with an excellent color for the locality.
