In this piece the matrix is crystalline calcite forming large disks. Boulangerite needles occur as inclusions in the calcite but also sit on the display side. A sizeable and interesting specimen from my personal collection.
On the periphery, it is obvious that the specimen has broken-off a larger matrix but this was the only way to get a piece. Given that the display side is undamaged, this is a very good example of a classic combination which is no longer found in these mines.
